At the 2003 Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Regulation hearings, the Air Resources Board directed staff to conduct a review of Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) technologies and advise the Board. To accomplish this, ARB has convened an Expert Review Panel to summarize technology status through site visits with automakers and suppliers as well as conducting a ZEV Technology Symposium in September 2006.
